Secondary roads bring from Piadena to Gazzuolo, passing by Rivarolo and Civitale. Flank Oglio river on its right side and then pass on the other side through a floating bridge in Torre d'Oglio. Oglio flows into Po river; flank the great river towards Borgoforte. Pass to the southern side through a bridge and follow the river to Pieve di Coriano.
The countryside between Piadena and the rivers has the power to bring the observer back in time. In Torre d'Oglio has survived one of the old floating bridges, it was built with barges in 1926 and it is now part of the southern Oglio natural park.
Oglio is one of the many tributaries flowing into Po river. Its northern side leads to Borgoforte, a crucial traffic point. Some ancient documents tell about a bridge built in 1253, one of the oldest. The track runs by San Benedetto Po, one of the "most beautiful historic villages in Italy", well-known for Polirone Abbey. Finally, the river heads towards Pieve di Coriano.
